#2 Orange - We Support Les Bleues (2023) 🇫🇷

On face value this appears to be another mindless football montage, centred around the 2018 Men’s World Cup champs France. Then 55 seconds in comes the rug pull of the year. “Only Les Bleus can give these emotions, but that’s not them you’ve just seen”. WTF! 

The commercial then takes you behind the wizard’s curtain and exposes the ultimate in deepfake, digital sorcery. This was not Antoine Griezmann or Kylian Mbappé but female French maestros Sakina Karchaoui and Estelle Cascarino. Such a clever idea from Marcel Paris (Publicis), brilliantly breaking down any archaic misconception that the men's game is somehow more exciting, skilful or watchable. 

Nothing beats truly trailblazing creative! And this unique piece definitely deserved it’s viral success!
